The first snow of the season

We woke up to a nice dusting of snow on everything and it's only getting thicker. I'm not a big fan of the fluffy, white stuff, but the blow was softened when Cole loved on us extra this morning by allowed us to sleep in until TEN! Wow. I don't remember the last time I slept in until ten, craziness.

There's something about the first snow of the season that even I can't hate. I took Nessa outside to go potty and it was just so silent. All you could hear was a light tip-tapping as snow landed on different surfaces. It was serene.

Now I just want to eat some homemade soup, drink something warm from my Charlie Brown Christmas mug, watch Christmas movies and (if I can convince Josh) listen to some Christmas tunes! Are you sensing a theme?!
