I want to add that I love my military family. You meet so many people in this lifestyle that you would've never had the privilege to otherwise. I'm grateful for every single relationship (the good and the bad ones) that I've made as an Air Force spouse. Each one has taught me something that I will be able to take with me the rest of my life.
My newest friend, Shelby, decided that she wanted to throw Josh and I a fandom baby shower. She worked, in secret, with my mom for a few weeks putting this shower together. Even the people in Josh's shop knew about it, and we were none the wiser. About a week before, Shelby let us in on the big secret. She wanted to make sure we didn't make plans and miss our own party. Seriously, could she be any sweeter?! I love you, Shelby, you have the biggest heart, and I'm so happy to call you my friend!
I'd say it was a pretty successful shower, especially considering we were there for 5 hours! We had so much fun, I didn't remember to take my normal million pictures-oops! After this weekend, I'm even more excited for baby Stormageddon to get here and feel the love that surrounds him.
Cupcakes with so much nerdiness, it made them taste even better than they already did!
I thought Cole was going to take off with the silverware bucket, he's really into Spider-Man right now! Even while I'm typing this, Cole saw, and came up to me yelling "Spider! Spider!"
Okay, so this isn't actually a party decoration, but I love the Lanning's cookie jar so much, it needed to have its picture taken!
Before we knew about the shower, this was supposed to be hung on our door for us to find!
How cute are these two?! I showed Cole this picture of him and Sophia, and he said "Look! It's Phia, it's PHIIIIIAAAAAAA!" P.S. How cute is Sophia's "Doctor Who" dress?! Love it.
