Twenty Fourteen

2014 has come to an end, and my little family has so many wonderful memories that will live on well after the clock strikes midnight.

In the last 365 days:

• Cole and I visited Omaha while Josh was deployed. While we were there we visited the Lincoln Children's Museum with Aunt Beth. I also had the honor of being a bridesmaid in my cousin, Chrissy's wedding.
• Before we flew back to Germany, we got to spend time in Washington D.C. with my Aunt Margie (Babe), Uncle Willy (Pocker), Uncle Allan, and cousin Neil.
• When we got back to Germany, Cole's big boy bed had finally arrived and I finally finished the artwork for his room.
• Josh made it home safe and sound from his 6 month deployment!
• Coleden turned 2 years old!
• My dad finally came for a visit!
• We went on the most amazing cruise! We saw Blue Man Group, visited Pompeii, Rome, Lucca/Pisa, Monaco/Monte Carlo, Palma Majorca, and Barcelona!!!
• We moved! All of our stuff was once again packed up and shipped off. Our new destination: New Mexico.
• Finally, our biggest news of the year: Cole is going to be a big brother! Yep, we're pregnant with Baby Boy #2!!!

Twenty Thriteen

2013 has been such a fun filled year! You don't realize how much you do in a year until you start reflecting.

In the last 365 days:

• I turned a quarter-of-a-century-old
• Traveled to Luxembourg, Garmisch, Neuschwanstein, Dachau, Omaha (and did this, this, this, and this), and finally the Netherlands.
• Cole celebrated his first birthday (and first birthday party), and I shared my labor experience (and this one)
• Josh went on TDY to Africa and then got deployed to a different part of Africa
• We discovered Cole's food allergies
• I shared the way we celebrated Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, my first Mother's Day, Independence Day, our fourth anniversary, Halloween, All Saints' Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas

It's been such and exciting year for us, and I know next year will hold even more adventures! I'll be heading back to Omaha in February for my gorgeous cousin Chrissy's wedding. Josh will be home in a little less than 4 months. Our friend Brandon is planning a visit, not to mention my dad is finally coming over here. Josh and I have booked the cruise of our dreams. Our little family will be PCSing in October. See?! So much is already planned!

For now, I hope everyone has a brilliant New Year's Eve!

Wrapping up the year!

Can you believe 2011 is coming to a close?! This was a jam-packed year where I met new friends, had unforgettable adventures, and even made a baby! I think this has been the best year yet!

As great as this last year has been, I am looking forward to the New Year and all the excitement that surely awaits me!
